We’ll be-heading in the woods with the new “Gobbler
Guillotine” (patent pending) this spring!
Arrowdynamic Solutions of Liberty Hill, TX recently
announced the introduction of the first ever razor sharp, four bladed broadhead
invented solely for the purpose of hunting big game birds. The Gobbler
Guillotine line of broadheads features the world’s largest cutting width ever in
a fixed bladed design with lethal cutting widths up to FOUR INCHES by FOUR
INCHES weighing in at just 125 grains!
Point of aim for birds is now
the much larger and more prominent head / neck region. This is the same area
shotgun hunters aim for! The wide cutting width and razor sharp blades provide
the most accurate, lethal and humane manner of killing a bird ever invented for
the bow hunter. The Gobbler Guillotine broadheads are engineered to work by
understanding and incorporating the aerodynamics that others have designed
around.

Testing the Guillotine
Dear Matt and the Crew,
Tested the Guillotine last night and the results were amazing. I have long been a promoter of the headshot on turkeys. In fact, we started the
Head Club in 1995 after I introduced a Nebraska turkey’s cranium to a broadhead. Since then, we have included 5 clean headshots in our video series “Another Year On The Ground.” When I met you guys at the ATA show I knew if
these heads flew correctly….lots of Toms would be in trouble.
The test: Accuracy
Target: Business partners cedar arrow propped upright topped with a bag rolled into a turkey type look-a-like.
Distance: 15 Yards 20 Yards
Bow: Renegade – Tominator II 70lbs
Arrow: Vital Bow Gear – Gladiator with 5” helical full length
Head: 125 grain Guillotine
First Shot 15 yd: Smashed home…Cut the cedar arrow in two just below the bag (turks head).
The cedar arrow didn’t break…it was severed.
Second Shot 20 yd: Smashed home again, cut the arrow into halves again. Hit about 3” low. Keep in mind that the full-length arrow
is 50 grains heavier.
If your serious about disconnecting the body and head of a turkey this spring, sight your top pin in with the heavier arrow and get ready to tell your
taxidermist “You might want to use a freeze dried head, I can’t find the real one”.
Penetration Test to follow: Brat with wood shaft spine inserted
